If happen to own an iPod and you have ever wanted to watch films, television programmes or even footage captured on your camcorder whilst on the move, and you lack a dedicated PMP capable of such wizardry, the iRecorder could prove of interest as makes recording the aforementioned media directly to your iPod a positive breeze.

Capable of squeezing a two hour movie into a 2GB MPEG4 format file, the iRecorder simply plugs into your TV, DVD player or camcorder and your iPod and takes care of the necessary encoding on the fly and is compatible with the 3rd Generation iPod Nano, iPod Classic, iPod 30GB/60GB as well other USB mass storage devices but, crucially, is not compatible with either Apple’s iPhone or iTouch (which could be viewed as a shame and somewhat of a failing in equal measure).
