As if Koreans are not already spoilt with the likes of the decidedly cool Ripple Mini they now have the up and coming release of the Sungju TangoX Nano Touchscreen UMPC to look forward to which, apart from sporting extremely compact proportions also comes with in-built Skype/VoIP capabilities courtesy of a removable integrated handset.

Measuring in at a mere 270 x 171 x 29.4 mm and weighing just 0.92kg, the Sungju TangoX Nano hardly skimps on features in featuring a 800 x 400 WVGA resolution 7” touchscreen, the aforementioned removable VoIP handset, an integrated 4-in-1 memory card reader and WiFi connectivity.

Sungju TangoX Nano Touchscreen UMPC Specifications:
- Wireless Internal Skype/VoIP phone
- 7″ WVGA 800 x 600 resolution touch screen display
- VIA CPU C7-M ULV 1.2GHz processor
- 1GB of DDR2 RAM
- 40GB/80GB hard drive
- HD Audio
- 4-in-1 Card memory card reader
- Ethernet Port
- WiFi connectivity
- 2 x USB 2.0 ports
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, no details concerning either a release date or unit pricing have been made available.

Shouldn’t the name of the Korean company be Sungju instead of Sungjut?

Hi Atticus,
Many thanks for the heads up. We trusted that the linked source (a Japanese site of considerable reputation) had given the name correctly but you are correct in stating that this is not the case.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have amended the post accordingly.
