Officially billed as being Samsung’s ‘largest and most powerful large format display’ Samsung’s new 82” SyncMaster 820DXn has been designed specifically for corporate and commercial digital signage and comes complete with a built-in AMD Athlon64 X2 3400+ 1.8 GHz dual core processor, 4GB of flash storage memory and 512 MB of DDR2 RAM allowing the display to self serve content.
Apart from sporting its own integrated computer, Samsung’s SyncMaster 820DXn display, which runs Windows XP and features an ATI graphics chipset, offers 1920 x 1080 full HD resolution and 5000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and comes with Samsung’s DNIe PRO image enhancement technology allowing for crisp imagery and more natural colour reproduction as well as a highly impressive (considering its sheer size) 8ms response time.
Undoubtedly a highly impressive piece of kit, Samsung SyncMaster 820DXn also comes with an equally impressive price tag in retailing at a staggering $76,999.
