SmartParts Announce SP8PRT Digital Photo Frame with Integral Colour Printer

With the popularity of digital photo frames showing no signs of abating manufactures are keen to come up with products that distinguish themselves from the plethora of products available and, whilst we’ve seen digital photo frames with integrated weather station functionality and even digital frames that can have their imagery transmitted directly from your cell phone, such as the Parrot DF7700, this offering from SmartParts is the first to offer a fully integrated colour printer – allowing you to gain hard-copies of imagery directly from the device itself.
The SP8PRT Digital Photo Frame utilises dye sublimation cartridges consisting of both ink and paper for producing hard-copies which, ironically, will require framing in a more traditional fashion using standard picture frames.
