Sony PSP Offers Now Offers Skype VoIP Capabilities with 3.90 Update

Good news for those of you with PSPs who have been waiting for the much hyped firmware update that would add Skype capabilities to Sony’s handheld console – it’s here, courtesy of the 3.90 firmware update.

Available with immediate effect via the PSP’s network update menu, free VoIP Skype calls is now within your grasp via a suitable wi-fi connection, as long as your PSP is one of the new PSP 2000 slim models – though you’ll need a avail yourself of a PSP headset and PSP remote.
