Following on from their MV-5000U model, Mvix’s new MX-780HD Media Center not only boasts all the featured you’d expect from a fully fledged, dedicated media center – a vast array of supported video and audio file formats, streaming via your computer courtesy of Wi-Fi or Ethernet, internet radio – but it also supports high definition in 720p, 1080i and 1080p formats as well as the inclusion (either at the point of release, or as a later revision) of an in-built torrent client.
Though, at the time of writing, the MX-780HD is not listed on Mvix website, a tantalising insight as to the Mvix MX-780HD HDMI Media Center’s capabilities have come to light in the form of an initial specification set.

A message from MvixUSA on June 6th, 2008, when I asked if they have any plans for torrent client in upcoming firmware releases. This is a dealkiller for me.
Hi Jeff,
A firmware with direct Torrent client has not been released. While it was heavily speculated by some that there would eventually be a Torrent client included, I have not yet seen any firmware that has included this. Please check in on our website from time to time for new firmware releases.
Thank you,
Marcus
