Cheap and Cheerful Mini Digital Photo Frame with in-built MP3 Player

When it comes to digital photo frames (which, incidentally, were one of the hottest selling gadgets over the Christmas period) you probably fall into one of the following camps – you either think they’re the coolest gadgets going or you’re completely nonplussed – but, for those whose fall very much into the former camp, who happen to be looking for a mini digital photo frame for a seriously low price, this mini digital photo frame could be worth further investigation.

Available from the Chinese Chinavasion online web store which, to put it tactfully, is well known for producing a bewildering array of gadgetry that we will advisably refer to merely as ‘cheap and cheerful’, this mini digital photo frame comes with a 1.5” 128 x 128 resolution LCD screen, MP3 playback capabilities via either the unit’s internal speaker or headphone port and it will also serve as a clock.

Storage capacity is wholly reliant on the use of SD memory cards, as the digital picture frame has no internal memory of its own, but at least the unit is portable thanks to a rechargeable lithium battery and, when you consider that the Mini Digital Picture Frame is available for a mere $22.18 (with discounts being offered on bulk orders) one can hardly expect the device to compete with offerings from the likes of Panasonic and Mustek (see our related posts section below for a selection of somewhat higher spec digital photo frames).

Certainly we can and will do happily without it, but, if you’re looking for an inexpensive gift for someone who doesn’t deserve serious expenditure but which at least gives the impression that you put some thought into, it we don’t doubt that this would be ideal (and we’re sure they’ll love you for it).
