We’ve previously featured an extremely cool R2D2 RC Home Projection System, designer Darth Vader and Storm Trooper Star Wars themed bags, and even a Millennium Falcon Retro Gaming Joystick so when we happened across this cool online R2D2 translation tool we just knew that we really ought to offer a heads up here for those of you who have not already happened across it.
Apart from offering immediate translation from English into R2D2’s language of beeps and warbles the Online R2D2 Translation Tool will also allow you to download an audio file in MP3 file format of the resulting translation which can be used to irritate the wife or uploaded to your cell phone to be used as a ring tone.
Needless to say, we couldn’t resist translating the name of this site into R2’s native tongue, the results of which can be heard here (just in case there are any R2 units out there).
Ultimately utterly pointless, but so many of the fun things in life are, aren’t they?
