The Samsung BD-UP5000, which measures in at 12.8(W) x 12.8(D) x 1.1(H) inches, caters for 1080p, 1080i and 720p HD native resolutions, with 1080p offering 14fps playback on both HD DVD and Blu-Ray and offers an impressive range of connectivity consisting of HDMI version 1.3, component Video, S-Video and Composite video outputs as well as offering full support of HD DVD (HDi) and Blu-Ray’s Java interactive features (something that previous dual format players have tended to struggle with).
