Initially when we happened across this rather cool vintage vacuum tube radio kit we thought we would post it on the premise that it would be a inspiring educational kit for young children but, on reflection, and having realised we would rather like one ourselves, we suspect that this Radio ACE Vintage Radio Kit probably has far wider appeal across all age ranges.

The Radio ACE Vintage Radio Kit comes with pre-wired components allowing for relatively easy assembly which consists of a vacuum tube, medium wave coil, shortwave coil, antenna and ground wires, as well as headphones and all the necessary screws and washers required for building a comply functional 1930’s style vacuum radio – with the detail going so far as in the provision of wooden casing panels.
