Angel Sounds Fetal Doppler System – Listen and Record Your Baby’s Heartbeat at Home

Angel Sounds Fetal Doppler System

For those of you lucky enough to have children we don’t doubt that the first time you ever heard your baby’s heartbeat will probably be one of your most cherished memories and now, thanks to this rather plastic affair, you can not only tune into your baby’s heartbeat as he/she is in the womb whilst in the comfort of your own home, but you can also record it for posterity.

Using Doppler technology at a frequency of 3.3 MHz, this admittedly cheap looking Angel Sounds gadget comes complete with a 3.5mm jack into which you can plug the supplied cheap and nasty headphones, a better set of headphones or an MP3 player to either hear or record your baby’s heartbeat by simply placing the main unit on the bump in question.

Naturally, you can forget SRS post filtering as well as equalizer presets – listening to your baby in Rock mode is therefore not an option – as this device very much resides in the WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) category of gadgets, and, if you happen to live in the US the product page advises that Federal Law restricts the use of this device unless you have the go ahead from a physician (those in the EU have no such restrictions).

Powered by a single 9v battery, the Angel Sounds Fetal Doppler System is available in white/green and white/pink and will set you back $27.03 for units purchased singularly with a series of staggered discounts being offered for bulk purchases.
