I have found that I've picked up the hobby of war driving/walking with my sansa connect. But even that's a bit of a hassle- I wouldn't bother pulling it out and turning it on if I had something like this sitting on my dashboard. Although honestly, I think I'd get the wireless signal T-shirt before this pen (way cooler). Not entirely useless, but pretty darn close to it.
