Matias Folding Keyboard – The Fold Away Full Size Keyboard for Laptops

Matias Folding Keyboard

If, like me, no matter how hard you try you just cannot reach our peak 10 words per minute (on a good day) using a laptop keyboard and you’ve tried those curious roll up keyboards with little success then this new, full size USB keyboard from Matias, which comes complete with a number pad and that folds in half to allow for easy transportation, could be the answer.

As well as offering a full size keyboard with high quality dome switches allowing for a reassuringly tactile response, the Matias Folding Keyboard also offers an enhanced number pad with a tap key allowing for quick, one fingered entry of data into spreadsheets and what’s billed as a ‘Fast FN Key’ – which ‘allows quick and easy access to keys that normally require a long reach – Arrow keys, Page Up, Page Down, Delete, and others can now be typed right from home row, without moving your hand.’

Add to this the fact that the device also boasts volume controls (volume up, down and mute) – which, though hardly serving extensive multi-media hot keys are more than welcomed – in a device that can, quite literally, be folded in half to allow for storage or easy transportation in your laptop bag and what you have is a device that is sure to be enthusiastically received by anyone who – not for want of trying – just finds laptop keyboards an absolute nightmare.

At the time of writing the Matias Folding Keyboard is available for pre-order for $60 with the company offering free-shipping for all advance orders received.
