Worlds First LED Morse Code Wrist Watch

Just when we were beginning to think that Tokyo Flash were in danger of loosing the plot simply in a futile bid to persistently outdo themselves – see our post concerning their Kyokusen digital watch – along comes a watch from them that’s not only fairly conservative by their standards but that is actually readable without resorting to an schematic instructional pamphlet.

Billed as being the world’s first Morse code wrist watch – and who are we to argue – the Morse Code Watch will not only represent the present time using Morse code via its polished mirror LED display but it can even sound the time in Morse using an internal speaker (and if that doesn’t impress the ladies, what will).

(let’s just say we don’t especially like it)

Thankfully, however, if your Morse deciphering skills are a little on the rusty side but, for some reason, you simply cannot envisage getting through life without this device strapped to your wrist, the Morse code Watch, which weighs in at a reassuring 150 grams, will also happily display the time in standard, traditional digital watch format in either 12 or 24 hour modes.

Tokyo Flash’s LED Morse Code Watch is due to retail for ¥12900 (which is approximately $116 / £56 / €79).
