Those of you who are familiar with what transpires to be one of our most read posts, namely our post concerning the HotDoll for ‘frustrated’ canines, will already know of FeelAddicted’s designs and now the French designer behind the name, Clemet Eloy, has been in touch to advice us of his newest creation – the SamePaperPlayAgain Paper Recycle Bin.

The SamePaperPlayAgain Paper Recycle Bin – which appears to be decidedly modern take on those mini basketball hoops you can attach to waste bins - turns paper recycling in either the home or office into a spectator sport where the ‘players’ score points for any paper that enters the bin either by being thrown or kicked – thus introducing an element of fun into the business of recycling.
According to Clement, ‘”The aim of SamePaperPlayAgain is to enjoy recycling. Recycling is an important and responsible act for our planet. We all try to recycle as much as possible but even if we do it, it is a boring thing to do. SamePaperPlayAgain is a waste paper basket to throw away and recycle used paper with fun. Many offices have a dustbin into which rubbish is thrown away, paper included. SamePaperPlayAgain encourages recycling by making it a game during work time, a contest between colleagues. You can relax playing football or basketball. Mix your job with sport. Or even play your sport at home.”

Unfortunately most paper based rubbish in offices these days is destined for confidential waste bins (certainly in my experience) but for non-confidential waste and home use we don’t doubt that Clemet’s SamePaperPlayAgain could prove to be extremely popular – and especially useful for introducing children to the idea of paper recycling.

FeelAddicted’s unforgettable HotDoll
At present the SamePaperPlayAgain is conceptual piece, but we’re sure that Clement of FeelAddicted would be more than happy to hear from anyone interested in the design or from parties that could assist him in seeing his SamePaperPlayAgain recycle bin through to commercial production.
(Our sincere thanks to Clement for the tip)
Note to Designers: If you have a design/concept you would like us to feature on TFTS we would be positively overjoyed to hear from you. Please feel free to get in contact.
