Lexar Release Distinctively Styled Professional UDMA Dual Slot USB Card Reader
Whilst we’ve previously posted about Eye-Fi’s SD memory card which comes complete with integral Wi-Fi – allowing for remote, wireless photo uploading direct to your PC from your camera – we suspect that this device will hardly serve to render dedicated card readers obsolete and, besides, if your memory card’s not of the SD variety the Eye-Fi device will prove of little use so card readers, such as this new UDMA CF/SD reader from Lexar remain as vital as ever for those looking to transfer files with ease to PCs for editing and storage.

Lexar’s new Professional USMA Dual Slot USB Card Reader not only looks somewhat more distinctive than the majority of rather bland looking card readers available but it also offers versatility in supporting SD cards as well as UMDA Compact Flash and standard CF cards as well as Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) cards.
Aimed squarely at professional photographers, Lexar’s new high performance, compact Dual Slot USB Card Reader retails for around $45.
