Video Recording Bluetooth DTR Spy Pen with Motion Detection

Following on from such unforgettable spy gadgets such as the previously featured Spy Tie, the Hidden Camera Spy Plant and these Hidden Cam Spy Shades, this not unattractive pen presently being developed by Pacific Defence not only serves as a run-of-the-mill pen but also as a wireless spy cam complete with motion detection.

Whilst details are a little scant at the time of writing, what is known is that this spy pen is capable of capturing video, complete with sound, at 30fps and 320 x 240 resolution which, thanks to the devices inbuilt Bluetooth connectivity, can be transmitted wirelessly to a receiving PC or PDA as well as being stored internally to its own flash memory.

The device can be set to trigger recording via five distinct motion detection sensitivity settings and can even be set to transmit an alarm via Bluetooth should motion be detected in its general vicinity.

Whilst by no means anywhere near as desirable as the MicroDrone Spy in the Sky – which is just about as serious as commercially available spy gadgets can get – we await further information concerning this spy pen, as well as some idea on pricing, with great interest.
