Saitek MySpkr A100 MP3 Portable Speaker for MPs3 Players and Laptops

Saitek MySpkr Portable Speaker

A few days ago we posted about Saitek’s new Cyborg gaming keyboard and to say that weren’t especially enamoured with it would be somewhat of an understatement – even by our standards – but, thankfully, Saitek has given us another product in the form of this MySpkr which goes at least some way to restoring our faith in their design sensibilities.

The Saitek MySpkr boasts a beautifully curvaceous, palm sized, scratch resistant design featuring twin neodymium stereo ‘hi-fidelity’ speakers as well as a bass port for capturing those lower frequencies and, in coming with a standard 3.5mm audio jack, can be hooked up to just about everything from PCs and laptops to PSPs, MP3 players and cell phones.

The MySpkr has a stated endurance of up to 12 hours using 4 AAA batteries which is supplemented by an auto power down feature to ensure that the unit doesn’t drain power unnecessarily and, whilst its certainly not the most desirable desktop speaker solution we’ve featured here on TFTS, for the price ($27.50) it’s worth considering.
