As regular readers will know, at TFTS we tend to be rather nonplussed by ‘blinged’ out gadgets as, invariably, take the ‘bling’ out of the equation and what you tend to be left with is a gadget that, at best, is nothing to write home about in terms of spec or cutting edge functionality – and these Swarovski Amethyst encrusted DJ headphones are no exception.

Developed in the build up to this year’s Swarovski Fashon Rocks event – a charitable event benefiting the Prince’s Trust – that took place on 18 October in London’s Albert Hall, these Swarovski Amethyst encrusted DJ headphones come presented in a luxury box (complete with small carrier bag – a clincher in anyone’s book) and retail for a mere $2404.

Personally, if we had that sort of money to splash out on a set of DJ headphones we would much rather settle for these Panasonic Wireless 5.1 Surround sound Headphones and spend the rest of the day in a bar offloading the remaining change – but, perhaps that’s just us.
