PC World Confirms - The Fastest Windows Vista Notebook is the MacBook Pro

Just when the PC vs Mac war had displayed signs of dying down following those adverts it looks like us PC owners are now going to have to endure the next set of jibes from those wearing corduroys and cardigans thanks to PC World confirming that the machine to achieve the highest WorkBench 6 Beta 2 score this year is none other than a Mac (ouch).
Personally, though I’m a PC user I have little hesitation in admitting that Apple make some pretty desirable computers but this has certainly come as a bit of a surprise – after all we’re talking about a Mac beating the likes of Dell, Alienware and even Gateway’s E-265M (if only by a single, solitary point).
We await the inevitable fallout in magazines and forums the world over.
