Roberts Robi Pod1 - The Worlds First DAB and FM RDS Radio Adapter for iPods

Roberts Robi Pod1 DAB and FM RDS Radio Adapter for iPods

If you’re looking to receive radio broadcasts using your iPod look no further than the cool, new Robi Pod1 iPod plugin from Roberts which offers FM and crystal clear DAB radio, complete with RDS, in the form of a tiny gadget that plugs directly into Apple’s ubiquitous MP3 player and which could, quite possibly, be one of the smallest commercially DAB radios in the world.

The Robi Pod1 FM/DAB RDS Radio attachment, which measures a mere 52.4 x 32 x 8.1 mm in size, comes complete with its own integral, backlit display to show presently tuned stations using RDS as well as a series of suitably styled controls that will not only serve to tune the radio but can be used to control your iPod much in the same way as an inline remote control unit.

The Robi iPod DAB Radio plugin, which, in utilising power gained directly from your iPod, does not need batteries, is due for release in the UK some time next week with a price tag of around £50.
