iPod iRing

Coming complete with its own USB powered docking station, the iRing concept offers a novel method of remotely controlling your iPod and/or iPone via an item of jewelery (naturally emblazoned with the Apple logo) thanks to its inbuilt Bluetooth connectivity and touch sensitive OLED strip screen.

Designed by Victor Soto, the iRing is capable of operating for up to two days on a single charge as uses its inbuilt OLED display to display the touch operated controls for adjusting the volume of your iPod or iPhone, and skipping tracks with the Apple logo serving as the play/pause function.

iPod iRing Functions

The iRing also comes complete with an equally novel locking feature which is implemented via two rubber pads on the back of the ring – simply bend your finger and the sensors will detect the pressure and lock or unlock the remote functions.

As far as concepts go, Victor Soto’s iRing is, we think you’ll agree, a complete gem though it would be nice to see the features embedded in the previously featured Information Ring (and perhaps even the Remember Ring) also built in to further add to the iRing’s functionality.
