SpacePilot Pan & Zoom 3D Mouse

Aimed squarely at CAD operatives and Photoshop artists, the SpacePilot from 3DConnexion (a subsidiary of none other than Logitech) has been designed from the ground up to make 3D navigation a breeze with its sculpted ergonomic form and its push, pull, twist and tilt navigation dial.

Coming complete with inbuilt compatibility with over 100 3D computer design and modelling applications, including the aforementioned Photoshop as well as AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Maya and Autodesk 3DS Max, the SpacePilot features a six degrees of freedom optical sensor, over 21 programmable speed keys and adjustable device speeds and has been designed not to replace your computer mouse, but rather to work in conjunction with it.
The SpacePilot, which comes with an inbuilt LCD to assist with defining and displaying programmable functions is Mac and PC compatible and retails for $399.
