Beautifully Realised Spirit of St Louis Themed Alarm Clock

We’ve featured many clocks here on TFTS but, as far as themed clocks go, this Travel Suitcase Clock that pays homage to Charles Lindbergh and his aircraft the Spirit of St. Louis – famed for making the first ever non-stop solo trans-Atlantic flight from New York to Paris in 1927 – is one of the most eye-catching we’ve come across and is sure to appeal to those with a particular interest in historic aviation.
As you would expect, you can forget about LEDs and digital displays as this is a purely analogue clock that comes enclosed in a mini suitcase and its beautifully realised – with even the controls being flip switches and the clock itself being modelled on what we would assume to be an altimeter.

If you have an older relation who hankers for days long since past there’s no doubt that this highly original Spirit of St. Louis themed alarm clock will doubtless bring a tears of nostalgia to their eyes.
Alternatively, if you are interested in aviation themed articles but your tastes are a little more up to date, you may find the items featured in this post of interest (such as the F4 Phantom Coffee table, the B25 Desk or how about MK81 Bomb occasional tables?).
