Hi Worm,

The Russian Helix and Hormone helicopters (Kamov)have contra-rotating coaxial rotors and they're able to move as freely as a normal heli - that said, the speculation is that this may only go up and down which, all said and down, is a bit naff isn't it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamov_Ka-25

That in mind, the Picoo Z seems to be the bast option. I have one and its great, once you get used to it (bit of a learning curve but well worth it).

Oh, and I can confirm that I've managed to land it on the wife's head as she was watching the X-Factor (I find women watching the X-Factor make brilliant helipads). :-)

This one has awesome "landing gear" but how does it turn without a tail rotor?

Should I ask for this or the PicoZ for Christmas?
