Curious WPM Measuring USB Mini Desk Light

Once again, the trusty Universal Serial Bus serves as the basis for another somewhat trivial USB desktop gadget, namely this rather curiously styled desktop lamp that reacts directly according to your typing speed thanks to its brightness and hue adapting according to your words per minute throughput.

The USB Mini Desk Light will glow yellow whilst you are idle but will change colour to blue once you begin punching your computer keyboard with the brightness increasing in direct correlation to your typing speed.

Here’s how we envisage the lamp looking whilst in a darkened room as we write this post.

WPM Desk Lamp

Well what do you expect for 1 WPM, Aurora Borealis?

Perhaps helpful for those looking to increase their typing proficiency – though we doubt it – the WPM USB Mini Desk Lamp retails for ¥1980.
