We’ve all seen those stickers that glow in the dark but how about a world map that offers an insightful night view of the world with its illuminated cities once the lights are turned off ?
It’s such a simple idea and we really ought not to be impressed by it and but there’s just something about this Night Planet world calendar that we find extremely appealing, and we don’t doubt that as a learning aid for children it could prove to be extremely effective in teaching basic geography.

The Night Planet glowing night view world calendar, which also details the monthly phases of the moon, retails for ¥3150 (approximately $11 / €8 / £5 exclusive of shipping).
