SDCard Protecting Phone Strap Eats Your Memory

SDCard Protector

If you have the need to carry an SDCard around with you – either for your cell phone or perhaps as backup additional storage for your digital camera – you’ll know that these tiny memory cards can prove incredibly easy to misplace – the results being loss of personal data or (and it’s happened to us) a good day’s photography.

SDCard Protective Strap

Initially we thought that this SDCard holder, which literally eats your memory card and which can be attached to a phone, a key ring or just about anywhere else, was a little tacky but, the more we think about it the more we realise that its actually a simple and effective solution to keeping those SDCard memory cards safe and protected from dust, moisture and grime whilst out and about.

The SDCard Protecting Phone Strap retails for approximately $10 / £5 / €7.

Any idea how to buy it in the US? I’ve been searching for a seller for MONTHS now!!! :)

How many cards does this little guy hold?

    Hi Chris,

I believe the store linked to will ship to the US – at least it did last time I checked.

I suspect it’s not available elsewhere but if you have any issues trying to get it shipped to you from the linked store get back in touch here and I’ll see if I can influence them in some way (worth a try).

    Hi Jackie,

I believe from what I can gather from the translation one card is a fairly tight fit so either one or two cards (at best).

    Excuse me but…
I would love to get this for the Holidays to a friend who is an amazing photographer, however the link posted here goes to a Korean site and then it defaults back to the Korean homepage because of an error in the posted link. Even when I tried to translate it with Google translate (worked perfectly!) I couldn’t find it (the memory card holder). Although I don’t have to give my friend this specific card holder, I’d still love to have the option (even if it ends up being mine instead of hers!!) .
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me,
    Emily

    Hi Emily,

Thanks for your comment – however, I know for a fact that the link was correct so they have obvioulsy removed the page.

I have not seen the product elsewhere at this juncture, but I will look for you today and report back if I manage to locate it for you.
