Dual MP3 CD Digital Player

Of all the concepts we’ve featured this is without doubt one of the coolest we’ve come across for some considerable time as not only will this digital music player serve as a traditional MP3 player but it will also play CD based media.

Designed by Yong-Seong Kim, this DMP (Dual Music Player) may look like and function as traditional MP3 player but, thanks to its novel butterfly design, it can also be pulled open to accept CDs.

Butterfly Dual Music Player

The result is a digital music player that is small enough to fit in your pocket or clip to your belt that will allow you to listen to your MP3 playlists whilst also accepting CDs which are actually of greater proportions than the player itself.

We think you’ll agree that this Dual Music Player is remarkable concept and we can only hope that some electronics giant is going to pick it up as there’s no doubt that this would be a runaway commercial success should it make it into production.

Mmm, delicious! Function and style at their best! Well, the best style I’ve ever seen for something that plays CD’s. I’d love one of these….and my birthday is coming up. “Wink, wink, nudge, nudge, know what I mean, know what I mean, say no more, say no more, a wink is as good as a nudge to a blind bat.”

Hi Richard – how’s it going?

Brilliant isn’t it. If I were in the upper ranks of the likes of Sony, Samsung or iRiver I’d be knocking on the designer’s front door with a considerably sized cheque in my hands.

We can only hope it makes it into production.
