Having already featured an iPod Dancing Penguin Speaker as well as a host of other curious and wonderful iPod accessories we really ought not to be surprised that even our teddy bears can potentially come with inbuilt iPod/MP3 Player compatibility these days.

Our apologies for the quality of the image above but when we saw this Nintendo Wii inspired skateboard deck we just knew we had to post about it as, considering the deck is wholly unlicensed we will be intrigued to see how Nintendo react when they come across it.

We’ve previously featured a rocket that’s capable of taking pictures from on high, but the SnapShot uses standard 35mm film whereas this Digital Video Rocket is an entirely modern (and therefore more geeky) gadget that is capable of taking not only still imagery at the top of its trajectory but is also able to capture up to 12 seconds of digital video – all of which can be uploaded straight to your PC.

Whilst hardly as geeky as the DIY MP3 Player set, and by no means as impressive as Brian the Brain, this build your own pond skimmer certainly put a smile on our faces and we suspect that it would be a great hit with young children (as well as slightly repressed webmasters).

Following on from their widely praised and previously featured Xacti E1 6 MP Waterproof Camcorder, Sanyo claim to have produced the world’s smallest 1080p High Definition camcorder with its pistol grip DMX-HD1000 which not only records at 1920 x 1080 resolution via HD/MPEG-4 but also offers still capture at not unreasonable 8 megapixels.

Regular readers will know that we here at TFTS Towers have a particular soft spot for minimalist, designer wrist watches and whilst this watch, known as the Eye Test designed by EleeNo cannot claim to be the most minimal we have ever featured – that accolade has been firmly secured by this particular watch – and is not quite as appealing as Issey Miyake’s jaw droppingly gorgeous OVO watch there’s no doubt that the Eye Test watch is both striking, decidedly modern and supremely stylish.
