Philips WAK3300 Streamium Wireless Music Station

Philips WAK3300 Streamium Wireless Music Station V3

Whilst not quite as eye catching or as capable as iRiver’s Life Unit, the Philips Streamium Wireless Music Station is hardly lacking in the looks department.

Powered by Micro Driver Sound technology, the Philips Streamium offers wireless 802.11g streaming via music centres and via PCs using UPnp allowing you to listen to your favourite play lists though out your home either by means of its extreme portability or via up to five connected stations.

The device offers PCM, MP3 and WMA compatibility (no OGG alas), an FM tuner and comes with 32MB of internal memory out of the box – which is further expandable via a flash memory card slot.

The Philips WAK3300 Streamium Wireless Music Station retails for a very reasonable €120.
