Beer Robot – Beer Served by a Bot

Beer Robot Beer Served by a Bot

Perhaps it’s just the subject matter, but I was transfixed by the video provided below showing this beer serving robot in action. I’m not sure whether it was because of the absurdity of it all, or because this would undoubtedly be a sure fire hit at parties.

The BeerBot is capable of storing up to six cans of beer in its internal cooler that can be served automatically on demand with the BeerBot not only opening the can for you, but also pouring it into a glass as well – though it has to be said you could die of thirst whilst waiting for your drink.

Known as the Asahi Robocoo, the BeerBot comes with programmable voices (male, female or customised) and retail for $799 each. That’s said, the site selling these BeerBots does go to great lengths to warn that only certain sized cans can be used with the robot.

I thought of getting one for my husband, but at retail price of $799 he can get off his butt and get his own beer.

    3. Hi Rik – Thanks for the comment. Visited your site and what a great layout. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a site designed to look like a newspaper that works so well and looks so good! Very striking and brilliantly realized.

Hi Rose – I tried persuading my wife that we need one. The result being that we’ve decided to decorate the bedroom. Not sure whether that counts as a victory (I suspect not). lol.
