Having just posted about the Rollky Two Wheel Skateboard, we couldn’t possibly pass on posting about this curious Magic Wheel which, according to the official website is ‘set to take the UK by storm in 2007’.

Whether this is the case or not, time will tell, but there’s no doubt that the Magic Wheel – which resembles a modern take on the Penny Farthing, except in miniature – certainly looks fun – though not quite as much fun as the previously featured Boom Borda.

Weighing in at 6.3Kg and measuring 29 inches in height, the Magic Wheel consists of a ‘professional sports wheel’ mounted to an ABS plastic frame featuring a rear mounted swivel (a castor at the back seems a great deal safer to us). Though, interestingly the site notes that though the Magic Wheel’s manual mentions a rear brake this has since been removed on account of the manufacturer deeming it unnecessary.

The Magic Wheel retails for £199 (approximately $240 / €175).
