PM100 Pulse Monitoring Glove V2

Little information is currently available concerning this heart beat monitor that fits your hand like a glove (very nearly a pun there) except to say that it does away completely with the need to wear a chest belt in order to continuously monitor your pulse during training.

The PM100 works by via Plethysmography whereby an inbuilt sensor measures the light reflected from the bloodstream within an artery – in this case an artery in your finger.

Developed by the German company Beurer GmbH, we strongly suspect that the PM100 Pulse Monitoring Glove will rapidly become a fashion must have in the world’s gyms once it’s released (let it not be said that we don’t have our finger on the pulse here at TFTS) – though the fact that if you clout the annoying chap on the running machine next to you with this on its going to seriously hurt has, we suspect, absolutely nothing to do with it.

As yet no information concerning pricing or availability has been released.
