4Cycle Red - The Zero Emission Four Seat Pedal Car

We’ve featured a great many zero emission vehicles here on TFTS of which a few have been pedal powered, but unlike previously featured vehicles this pedal powered car/bike hybrid will seat up to four people – all of whom have the option of contributing to the means of propulsion.

The four person pedal car, which is known as the 4Cycle Red and is manufactured by the German company ZEM, is 265cm in length, weighs in at 96kg and is manufactured from aluminium.

Features include four independent 7 speed SRAM S7 gear mechanisms (including reverse gears), low resistance tires, four hydraulically operated disc brakes (and a parking brake) and individually adjustable seats complete with seat belts.

The 4Cycle Red retails for €5960.
