Customisable Sneakers via Your Cell Phone

Customisable Sneakers via Your Cell Phone V2

In the main, the majority of the concepts we’ve featured on TFTS have been things that have excited us and that we would positively love to own, however, though we would like to say that’s also the case with these Custom Kicks it really isn’t.

Don’t get us wrong. We can see how these customisable sneakers may well appeal to many being that you can change the patterns on them on the fly via your cell phone – thus allowing you to either change their theme based on your mood or circumstances or if you see anyone else wearing the same pattern (God forbid) – but that really doesn’t do anything for us. I mean, if you are so desperate to define yourself via a pattern on your trainers then perhaps a few character building exercises is something you should seriously consider.

As a technology concept we attempt that these serve to showcase what may be in store as far as programmable styling is concerned, and we would love to get excited about the prospect of remotely programmable patterns appearing on our shoes and clothing, but we just can’t. No matter how hard we try.
