Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, the Hex Bugs are mini robot insects that mimic real insects by scuttling around and will even avoid obstacles of their own accord. Not only that, but they’ll even abruptly change direction in the event of hearing loud, sudden sounds – such as hand clapping.

The Hex Bugs are powered by two button cell batteries and come in a range of vibrant colours and reviews on the Radio Shack website, where the Hex Bugs retail for a mere $9.99, are extremely positive.
