Having already featured the curious Haro Animated Taking PC Case we couldn’t possibly pass up on posting about this equally unique and overstated computer case that’s been designed to resemble a V5 engine.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer any particular details concerning this custom case as we are unable to find its origins, so we’ll have to let the pictures do the talking…

I’ve seen some pretty gaudy case designs before, but I’ve got to say – this takes the cake!

Hi Richard – you’ve hit the nail on the head. I’m not sure what I think of it either. I certainly respect the work that’s obviously gone into it but would I have one of these in my office – nope.
now now Richard, no need to be prejudiced against rednecks.. that makes it sound like everyone here is some sort of racist or something…
I think the case is neat, but far overdone and while alot of work went into it.. it still seems rushed and details missing to make it seem more authentic. nice first attempt, but also not for me.. if I were going to have a car themed case, i’d go for more of the body or exterior of the entire vehicle to scale instead. on a scale of 1 out of 5 I give it a 2.. mostly because it doesn’t seem everyday functional or comfortably useable physically. Personally Id rather get an alienware case (for cheap) maybe from an old one that is worn out internally and build a new one in it and customize the case since it’s shape is just unique enough withought going over the top…

its over complicated but yet unfinished at the same time….im young (18) so would be decent for in my room under the desk but cahange a few things like make the blower smaller and bring the cd tray out more twoards the front…maybe have all the cables for power and monitor come through the back in a distributor shape, have liquid cooling and have them enter and exit the case where spark plugs would be

Im sorry that is awesome ima big chevy guy i like the small block design it has tho lacking the authentic look its perfect for someone into the design and doesnt know much about cars or engines as for me id be lookin for carbs throttle bodies or somethin lol i like the case good job
Personally I think this is a very well constructed case with lots of vision and talent with putting it all together.
As a card carring REDNECK I am a little offended by remarks made at the top in 2007. Hopefully these gentlemen have grown up some in the past three years. Evidently the impression I get is that rednecks are a small piece of america that wear overalls and too stupid to have a computer.
I havn’t checked yet but if this computer put on the market and advertised, I believe it would do well as it is unique and a great conversation piece. It certainly serves more enjoyment and function than the Mona Lisa to me. But of course being a redneck I’m not into looking good while being very comfortable with how I am, what I believe in and not into be politically correctness as seen by others. Have I got class?? Who knows but who cares either.
My intentions are not running down the guys at the beginning of this thread, only stating that redneck, black, indian, chinese, etc all have many great people with great minds and some are lucky enough to have the skill to actually build the case.
My hat is off to whoever made it and I want one..
I found this thread while searching google imakges and just had to say something about it.Being an ole man that is a computer geek but loves racing games online against people all over the united states and canada, getting to know them with conversation almost every night on teamspeak, I can probably see ten or fifteen guys out of thirty or so in the league that would also love to have one, not to mention the thousands of other people that do the same.
Now I got to go and see if I can find one for my next computer I will be building for someone else.
