Shade Blade Concept Clamshell Sunglasses with Visor

If you’re intending to be out and about in the sun’s rays and you’re looking for eye protection from those cancer inducing UV rays then you could opt for this previously featured Ultraviolet Radiation Visor but, let’s be honest here, it’s hardly the most flattering of fashion accessories.

No, what you need is a pair of these cool Shade Blades (which already get top marks from us for a well thought out and decidedly catchy name).

Matthew Rothan, the designer of these wonderful Shade Blades, offers the following insight into his Shade Blades as follows:

‘The Shade Blade is designed to provide an encompassing area of shade around the wearer’s face. No Squinting! When the glasses are not being worn, the Shade Blade’s unique hinge action, clamshell-like design folds closed encasing and protecting the lenses. Protect your eyes from the sun’s harsh rays and protect your lenses from harsh every day use!’

You can view further imagery of Matthew’s Shade Blades via the great Ideawicket website.

Hair Glasses

As a footnote, if you’re one of those people who use shades to keep their hair out of their face then these previously featured, somewhat tongue in cheek, completely opaque Hair Glasses may be of interest.
