Following on from the OVO Minimalist Watch we featured earlier on TFTS I was reading Electro Plankton today who noted that Issey Miyake’s new website had launched and I was tempted to take a look. And we’re glad I did.
It’s not very often we post about a site in particular here on TFTS, and its even less often that we don’t skip lengthy flash (often extremely laborious) introductions to websites, but the Flash intro to the new Issey Miyake website simply blew us away with its brilliant concept, fluid animation and great sound track. It simply oozes style.
You can see the flash intro below, and it’s well worth a look.

Wow, I love the flash intro - the percussion is outstanding. I think it is worth watching again, so does my husband, he watched it over and over and over…… I think the concept is incredibly clever. I wonder if there is more of this type of website anywhere else on the web?
