Control Your Home Remotely with HomeRemote

HomeRemote Remote Home Automation System

It’s enough to give a burglar nightmares. There he/she (no role specific gender stereotyping here) snooping around your home looking for valuables – or in the fridge for a lettuce – whilst you are out when suddenly the television flickers to life, the lights come on and the kettle starts boiling (so he/she can have a nice cup of tea following their mini coronary just as the police pull up outside).

Thanks to this remote home automation gadget, manufactured by Hawking Technology, and known as the HomeRemote, you could do exactly this either via the internet or even your cell phone whilst following our uninvited visitors every move by (an additional) remote camera – even if you’re on the other side of the world.

HomeRemote Connectivity

The HomeRemote product page goes to great lengths to convey the virtues of its state of the art Z-Wave wireless mesh technology – basically a 2-way radio frequency connecting the main hub with the individual satellite controllers – which, it states, ensures that you have a secure and reliable connection to your home appliances and lighting. Of course, if the intruder is tech savvy he/she would have had the sense to disable your broadband connection (to which the HomeRemote hub is connected) thus rendering the entire system wholly inoperable – but perhaps we’re being overly picky.

As a remote monitoring system or a deterrent we don’t doubt that the HomeRemote system would excel and, as an added bonus you can always use your cell phone to turn of the television remotely whenever the wife is watching the X-Factor which, in anyone’s book, is a considerable bonus.HomeRemote Features
