Tayo Sport Urban Ski Skateboard in a Bag – Are You Mad?

We’ve covered a range of curious, single person transportation devices here on Thoughts from the Sidelines, from contraptions such as the Boom Borda, the cool Wheelman Landsurfer and the Hangboard, but this Urban Ski Skateboard certainly looks the most terrifying. In fact, as far as we’re concerned, you’d have to have a serious death wish to even consider utilising this Tayo Sport device to get from A to B (with B undoubtedly being your local accident and emergency unit).

The Tayo Sport Urban Ski Skateboard can be ridden in either the skiing position or whilst seated (with a gun to our head, we’d still opt for the latter) and is small enough to pack away in a back pack when not in use for ease of portability. Which is handy, as this means that you’ll still be able to keep the Tayo Sport with you when you’re being pushed about in a wheel chair on account of having broken both your legs.
Suddenly, and quite unexpectedly, getting into a car the wife’s driving doesn’t seem quite as daunting (though I find a quick Vallium helps).
