If you’re not convinced that these rocket pens are cool we would urge you to try leaving one on your office desk overnight to see if it’s still there in the morning. Call me cynical, call me untrusting, but the chances are that you’ll turn up in the morning to find your desk devoid of this great office gadget thus requiring you to liberate one of those cheap pens from the company’s stationary cupboard for the remainder of the day.

These Rocket Pens are manufactured from metal – expect tacky, cheap plastic imitations to appear on the market any time soon – and measure 185mm in length, including the stand and retail at ¥1030 (approximately $8 / €6 / £4 at the time of writing).

If its any sort of indication as to just how cool we think these are, we’ll be placing an order for a bunch of these Rocket Pens tomorrow (which is probably the kiss of death, so if you want one get it now).

And, if rockets aren’t your thing perhaps this shock absorber pen might appeal (another example of a pen that you wouldn’t want to leave just laying around).
