Seiko NX1010 Single Head Rechargeable Shaver

Seiko NX1010 Single Head Rechargeable Shaver V2

Let’s be honest here, shaving every morning is a chore and apart from growing a beard, if you’re anything like me then you’re constantly on the lookout for a shaver that will lop off your whiskers with the minimum of fuss, in the minimum of time – and this all boils down to the efficiency of the shaving head and its total surface area.

Enter the Seiko NX1010 rotary blade rechargeable shaver which takes matters to the extreme by featuring one large, curved shaving head ensuring the maximum of cutting areas.

It’s a great idea – in theory – though it’s unfortunate that, from an aesthetic point of view, the Seiko NX1010 is not particularly inspiring – though it has a certain retro feel that we cannot quite put our finger on. Nevertheless, this device certainly looks as though it could cut down on shaving time dramatically and not only that but the head offers the added bonus of being washable so as to ensure it remains hygienically clean with the minimum of fuss.

The single head Seiko NX1010 rotary blade rechargeable shaver retails for ¥3980 (approximately $32 / €24 / £16).
