Cordless Headphones with Integral iPod Shuffle Dock

iFreePlay iPod Shuffle Headphones

As regular readers will know, we’re not particular fans of the iPOD Shuffle here at TFTS as we believe that it’s the one variant of the iPod family that Apple got so very wrong but, if you happen to own a Shuffle, these Monster iFreePlay headphones could be just what you’re looking for if you want to be out and about without getting tangled up with headphone wiring.

Featuring a what Monster refer to as an ‘iDock’ the wrap-around iFreePlay Headphones come complete with a Shuffle docking port built into the left ear housing that allows for direct connection between the headphone speakers and the Shuffle, hence eliminating those annoying cables.

Little in the way of technical specifications are provided via the iFreePlay webpage so it’s anyone’s guess as to the quality of sound reproduction but, then again, true audiophiles would no doubt argue (with justification) that if it’s sound quality you’re after you wouldn’t be listening to MP3s in the first place.

The Monster iFreePlay iPod Shuffle Headphones retail for $49.95.
