Cool Animated Blue LED Digital Clock

cllo blue led animated clock

They say that tiny things please tiny minds and, on that premise alone my mind must be the size of a pea as the mere fact that this LED Clock is animated to show the time scrolling ever onwards strikes me as being rather cool.

Displaying not only the time, but also the date and an inbuilt alarm function, this LED clock has been designed to be wall mounted and is sure to be an attention grabber in any household though, as it’s powered via a plug in adapter, we cannot help but feel that the sight of the power cable trailing down the wall could prove to somewhat detract from the overall aesthetic. Unfortunately, there appears to be no option to power the device from batteries hence allowing you to dispense with the power cord, which is a shame.

This cool LED clock retails from this Japanese outlet for ¥15500 (excluding postage) which roughly equates to $130 / €96 / £65.

Alternatively, if you would prefer a round version that counts the passing of seconds by showing an animated series of dots around the outside, this LED Clock may be more to your tastes – though, once again, there is no option for it to be battery powered so you’re still looking at a trailing cable.

This round LED animated clock retails for ¥7800 ($65 / €48 / £32) from the same online store as linked above.

Hello. Can anyone supply me with the instructions for my Nexus round digital LED alarm clock? This is the black one with blue numbers. Also, it works fine when plugged in with the electrical cord but not with the batteries. I’ve tried it with three, tested 1.5 AA batteries, as needed, but it either won’t go on at all, or stays on less than a minute. It may only go on when I click on the check button and then quickly go off. Help!! Any instructions to E-mail me? Any ideas as to problem with the batteries? Thanks!
