Bitman LED Disco Dancing Pixel Man Message Watch

Bitman LED Disco Dancing Pixel Man Message Watch V2

This great gadget (have had to settle for that introduction as I have used the term ‘retrotastic’ already this week – damn) from Japan is the Bitman Message LED Watch which, apart from looking like a rather chunky prop that’s a throwback to some seventies sci-fi flick, features a pixel block, illuminated man on an LCD screen who will break out into a vigorous disco dance whenever the device is shaken.

Wearable as a somewhat cumbersome watch – though not quite as cumbersome as this monster watch – or designed to be hung from your neck or attached to a bag, this curious LED based gadget also displays the time as well having an electronic bulletin board feature whereby you can display scrolling illuminated messages of up to 32 characters in length for others to see.

Turn up with gadget this strapped to your arm in a club and I can assure you, you’ll get noticed.

Available for ¥6090 (approximately $51 / €37 / £25) from this Japanese online retailer.
