Articulated Singer Insect by Christopher Conte

Unlike the previously featured work of Mike Libby’s Insect Labs, Christopher Conte does not employ real insects in his intricate sculptures but, instead, builds them completely from recycled parts of electronics and machinery, such as the Articulated Singer Insect - featured above - which is composed from parts taken from a vintage Singer sewing machine.

We’re fans of Christopher’s work here at TFTS and, if you have the time, we would urge you to take a look at his online portfolio.
