Rimax D-Luxe MP3/MP4 Player with VOIP

Available in either 1GB or 2GB flavours, the Rimax D-Luxe offers audio and video playback in MP1, MP2, MP3, WMA, WMV, ASF and WAV formats as well as digital photo capabilities (JPG and GIF) all paired with VOIP accessibility via a USB connection. Add to that an inbuilt FM radio with 20 presets and digital dictation capabilities and you have seriously versatile gadget at your disposal.
Featuring a 1.8” colour screen, inbuilt microphone and speaker the Rimax D-Luxe even comes complete with two games – though quite how they pack all this into a 50 gram device that measures a mere, pocket friendly 75 x 51 x 12 mm is beyond us.
The only downside is the somewhat poor battery life of 4-6 hours but considering that the unit recharges from USB as well as a standard adapter it’s hardly a specification killer – especially with a specification as broad as this. And, for around £70 / €103 / $138 for the 2GB model we think it’s positively a steal.
