Divita CD DVD Computerised Storage Tower

Why is it that, even with the best will in the world, you can never find the DVD or CD you’re looking for just when you really need it. In a bid to at least look organised you have an Excel spreadsheet listing around twenty discs and their contents but you gave up on that years ago. You now have CDs and DVDs stored in racks, in bookcases, in boxes under the bed and in the roof, in the car, under the television, beside the sofa and when you go to the refrigerator for a snack you wouldn’t be surprised if you found discs embedded in the lettuce. They’re everywhere.

Enter, stage left, Bludot’s Divita BDM-100S DVD/CD storage tower to bring some order to the chaos.

Beautifully crafted in polished metal and standing little over 57 cm in height, the Divita can hold up to 100 CDs and DVDs and, thanks to a cleaver bit of circuitry, it can be programmed via a keypad so it actually knows what it’s storing.

To find a DC or DVD you simply enter the details on the keypad and, having checked via the Divita’s on-board 1.8” colour TFT display that the tower contains the disc you’re after the Divita will retrieve your selected disc with the minimum of fuss and eject it via a slot in the front – thus leaving you free to sit back and watch Top Gun for the 1000th time.

The Divita BDM-100S isn’t cheap, however, retailing at $489, but there can be no doubt that this is a seriously desirable gadget.

Further details can be obtained via the Audiocubes website.
